William Condrell, MD Review

We've forgotten something in modern medicine, that the Doctor who listens to his patient carefully will 9 times out of 10 be able to diagnose a problem from his patient's History. Dr Condrell understands this.

I too, have had a wonderful experience in choosing Dr Condrell. My last Doctor I'd had insulting dismissed an issue I brought to him and after spending only 5 minutes with me, prescribed a medication that was not only wrong for me, but excacerbated my problem. I had met Dr Condrell socially, and was impressed with his demeanor, style and depth of knowledge and decided to transfer to his Practice.

On my first visit Condrell actually spent over an hour with me carefully going over my whole medical history. He inquired into my lifestyle, relationships, diet and overall health. His recommendations on the first meeting were helpful, economical and effective. He carefully worked out with me, and suggested, an overall management plan that took into account ALL of my health issues.

I have continued to see him, and on every visit am pleased that he continues to spend the same quality time with me as on my first visit. I don't mind waiting in his office for him, knowing that he gives every patient the same degree of attention.

Professionally, I work with Physicians on a regular basis, and although impressed with most, I must say Dr Condrell rises above and beyond the rushed, let's-test-everything, and not-bother-to-listen-to-the-patient, style of health care we have all come to accept. I would not hesitate to recommend him with accolade. I have brought my whole Family to him now, and am very pleased with our choice.

Cost note. I was surprised at the reasonableness of his fees, given the time he spends, and quality care he gives his patients. I am happy to pay just about anything for this quality of care, yet he is significantly less expensive than many Chevy Chase so-called "experts."

Farragut Medical & Travel Care Review

This practice is literally a  saviour: When you move in into a new place/city/country, you may not be able or have the time to do stuff like registering to a medical practice. So when all of a sudden you have no other choice but to go to the doctor, A practice like Farruget Medical & Travel Care greatly helps!

It's no non-sense approach of accepting everyone without prior notice or need to register beforehand makes a lot of sense for travellers passing through DC.

Its staff are nice, considerate and caring and provide very good care. The environment is clean and I have never waited more than half an hour to be seen.

Only bad point: Opening hours, I wish they would close a little later/open a little later one day for people like me that do not work in DC.

I sadly now have insurance that requires me to have a "traditional GP" but if I could would still go there.

Commercial Club Playground Review

There are several playgrounds within walking distance of our apartment, but Commercial Park is my little family's favorite. Commercial Park was always decent, but then it built upon its existing coolness a few years ago when it underwent a major renovation. Now the playground has all sorts of climby things built over a squishy, safe ground. Other new neat stuff includes swings, organic gardens, and a nifty giant snake sculpture. The biggest attraction in the dead heat of summer, though, is Commercial Park's spray pool. Oh, it's really only a tower coming out of the ground with a few shower heads, but in August? It keeps my five-year-old and me from being on the ten PM news for matricide/infanticide.

Note: Commercial Park's enjoyability is due in no small part to its motivated staff and neighborhood organization. They keep the classes and free community events rolling three seasons out of four. If you have children DO NOT MISS their Movies in the Park night and the Halloween parade. They'll make you as glad to be raising your kid in the city as I am with mine.

AAA Targeted Writing & Coaching Services Review

I am good at writing and marketing, and thus never used a resume service. However, I decided to give it a try because I wasn't getting the response I thought I should. I've even tried various versions of my resume.

In my position it's not a cinch to get another job, as I have a lot of experience. I was impressed by Clay's interviewing process, getting info from me, and surprised at the result. I even told him, "This is not how I would have ever done a resume." It was assembled in a way I had never even thought of--and wasn't sure it would work.

Surprise, in a month I had three interviews with three different firms. And I chose the best of the three. The Hassell Law Group Review

I was represented by Dawn and the Hassell Law Group and they did a great job. I was very please with the clear lines of communication during the whole process.
